Hundreds of pounds raised for children in care this Christmas at Sutton Business Excellence Awards

Thanks to generous donations from local businesses, we were able to raise more than £800 through our Sutton Business Excellence Awards gala dinner on Friday evening to help give children in foster care a very special Christmas.

The £825 raised at this year’s Awards evening will go to The Christmas Tree Project: a charity appeal to buy Christmas presents for children in care who would not otherwise receive gifts.

The appeal is an initiative of the Police Commissioner that aims to help children in care across London.

Businesses who donated to the cause by buying a ticket at our Awards night were entered into a prize draw to win a bottle of champagne.

Radio broadcaster, Neil Bentley [pictured – top, left] and Teresa Whitfield [pictured – top, right], marketing manager at Successful Sutton presented the bubbly to prize winners Jon Docksey from Design JD and Clive Bowden from JW Cannon.
