Local recruitment agency Employment Plus has celebrated the launch of its new offices in Sutton this week with an opening party attended by staff and clients. Having previously been located in Zurich House, which is now being redeveloped, the company had to look for new premises elsewhere in the high street if it wanted to stay in Sutton. The new offices, in St Nicholas Road, have been completely refurbished by the company as part of their investment and commitment to Sutton.
Employment Plus was formed by Sally Lelliott and Kim Kelly with one objective in mind – to provide a personal and dedicated service to both clients and candidates. Sally said “Since we launched in 1991 with a small office in Sutton we have continued to grow and we contribute our success to the relationships that we have built based on trust, honest communication and commitment to service. We currently have 250 + temporary workers in employment every week, and are also placing permanent candidates within roles daily”
The opening ceremony was officiated by Ross Feeney, chief executive of Successful Sutton – the town centre’s business improvement district company – who helped keep Employment Plus in the town centre. Ross said “Employment Plus is a real success story, and a great ambassador for Sutton’s business community. We are delighted they have chosen to remain and invest in Sutton. As our town centre starts to benefit from over £400m of investment and regeneration, there is no better time to think about Sutton as a place to invest – just like Employment Plus”.
